Vetafarm Triple C is a broad-spectrum antibiotic powder formulated for use in ornamental birds to treat bacterial infections. It serves as an ideal "first-line" treatment when the specific bacterial group is unknown or multiple bacterial groups are suspected.

Directions for Use:

Restraints: Not for use in birds intended for human consumption.

Dosage & Administration:

• Parrots: 5.0g/L in water (1 tsp per quart)
• Finches & Pigeons: 2.5g/L in water (½ tsp per quart)
• All Ornamental Birds:
  • 5.0g/kg in dry food (½ oz per 6 lb)
  • 10g/kg in hand-rearing food (1 oz per 6 lb)

Administration Guidelines:

• Remove all unmedicated water sources and replace them with fresh medicated water daily.
• Withdraw sources of grit and calcium during treatment.
• Provide medicated water for 5-7 days (or 45 days for Psittacosis).
• Use glass, glazed, or plastic containers for medicated water.
