Virbac – Wound-Gard

Virbac Wound-Gard is a topical antiseptic and anti-chew spray designed to protect wounds on dogs and cats from licking, biting and self-trauma. Its powerful bitter taste discourages animals from interfering with healing areas, sutures or dressings, helping to prevent infection and promote recovery.

Formulated with antiseptic and antifungal agents, Wound-Gard supports wound care while reducing the risk of further irritation or contamination.

Active Ingredients:

• Chlorhexidine Gluconate – 10 g/L

• Phenoxyethanol – 20 mL/L

• Menthol – 5 g/L

• Denatonium Benzoate – 200 mg/L

• Eucalyptus Oil – 10 mL/L

Directions for Use:

• Shake well before use

• Apply liberally to the affected area 3 times daily

• Use approximately 3–4 sprays per 2cm of wound
