Directions for Use
For Newborn Eutherians (Placental Mammals)

• Species: Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, horses, cows, sheep, pigs, deer, flying foxes, and microbats.
• Time Frame: Feed within the first 48 hours after birth, ideally before milk is introduced.
• First 12 Hours: Feed ¼ of the prepared Impact Dose every 2 hours. Do not mix or feed with milk.
• 12 to 48 Hours: Begin feeding milk. Continue Impact feeding every 4 hours in between milk feeds.

Impact Dose Preparation:

• Weigh the animal and refer to the feeding guide for the appropriate dose.
• Mix Impact powder with warm, pre-boiled water. Use an electric whisk for larger quantities.
• Prepared Impact can be refrigerated for 1 day or frozen for up to 2 weeks.

For Marsupials (Pouch-Bound Joeys)

• Species: Kangaroos, possums, wombats, koalas, bandicoots, carnivorous marsupials, echidnas, and platypuses.
• When to Use: Feed within 1 week of first coming into care for optimal immune support.
