Wombaroo Lorikeet & Honeyeater Food (Yellow/Green Enhancer) is a complete and balanced diet specifically formulated for nectar-eating birds that lose their colour in captivity. This product helps maintain yellow and green feather pigmentation in species such as softbills, honeyeaters, robins, chats, and some finches. It replicates the nutrient profile of the birds' natural diet, ensuring optimal health and vibrant feather colour.

Preparation Instructions:

• To make 100mL: Mix 30g (3 scoops) of powder with 80mL of warm water.
• To make 1 Litre: Mix 300g of powder with 800mL of warm water.

Instructions:

1. Mix half the water with the powder until dispersed.
2. Add the remaining water and mix thoroughly.
3. Store prepared food in the fridge for up to 24 hours or freeze in small portions for up to 2 weeks.

Feeding Guide:

Captive Birds:

• Use as the main diet for lorikeets, honeyeaters, and similar nectar-eating species.
• For breeding birds, increase feed by 30% and supplement with additional protein sources.

Supplementing Wild Birds:

• Use an elevated feeding station with a maximum daily feed of 10mL per lorikeet or 5mL per honeyeater.
• Remove feeding bowls daily and clean thoroughly to prevent disease transmission. Encourage natural feeding by planting native shrubs and providing fresh water.
